Bohdan Luts studied at the Krushelnytska Music School in Lviv, at the Lysenko Music School in Kiev and at the International Menuhin Music Academy. His teachers have included Oleg Kaskiv, Renaud Capuçon, Olga Korinets, Yaroslava Kataryna and Maria Futorska and he has participated in master-classes with violinists including Pinchas Zuckermann and Gábor Takács-Nagy. He has played with the Lviv National Symphony Orchestra and the INSO Orchestra and has participated in the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and the Bellerive Music Festival as well as giving recitals in Ukraine, Switzerland and Italy. Bohdan is a laureate of the Lipizer International Violin Competition (First Prize), the Il Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition for Young Violinists (Second Prize), the Lviv Virtuoso International Violin Competition (Grand Prize) and the Dolný Kubín International Violin Competition (Grand Prize), Carl Nielsen International Music Competition (2022, Odense, 1st prize), Concours Long-Thibaud (2023, Paris, 1st prize).
