Giorgia Tomassi

The Italian pianist, Giorgia Tomassi, received first piano lessons from her mother. This was to be the start of a long-lasting, deep involvement with music that would lead to her maturation as an artist at the Accademia Pianistica di Imola under the guidance of the Maestro Franco Scala.

Giorgia Tomassi has played with Martha Argerich, Salvatore Accardo, Domenico Nordio, Geza Hosszu Legocky, Ensemble Wien-Berlin, in a trio with Hansjörg Schellenberger and Milan Turkovic, with Roberto Cominati, Polina Leschenko, Orazio Maione, Alessandro Stella, Danilo Rossi, Alessandro Travaglini, Peter Lukas Graf and Carlo Maria Griguoli.

Giorgia Tomassi teaches at the Conservatorio di Musica "L. Perosi" in Campobasso since January 2008.
