Dortmund: Results from the Schubert Competition

 

Among 138 Applications, 36 pianists from around the world took part in the 14th International Schubert Piano Competition in Dortmund, Germany. Established in 1987, the Competition offers prizes in the categories of Piano and Lied Duo and has a special focus on the music of Franz Schubert. At the piano competition, the repertoire includes i.e. a complete performance of one of Schubert´s last six sonatas

2. Prize: Lukas Sternath (20, Austria)
3. Prize: Jonas Stark (23, Germany)
