The International Aeolus Competition for Wind Instruments has firmly established itself as a worldwide recognized stage for wind Instrument players.
The Organizer of the "Aeolus" Competition is the Sieghardt Rometsch Foundation. The Robert Schumann Academy is the home of the Competition, which is also supported by the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra and the highly regarded German Radio Station Deutschlandfunk.
