Xiaohui Chen

Xiaohui Chen has more than 15 years of music performance experience since I started playing the piano at the age of four and began to learn percussion at ten. He performs percussion in multiple styles, especially in contempory enbsembles and marimba performances. Xiaohui studied percussion at the Conservatory of Music Middle School and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with Nancy Zeltsman and Samuel Solomon. He has won first prizes at The Italy Percussion Competition, the Southern California Marimba Competition, and the Guoyin Percussion Competition.
