Nicolas Cunin

Nicolas started playing the trombone at the age of 6 with his father, Pascal Cunin. In 2004, he entered Olivier Renault's class at the CRD in Troyes, then in 2010 in the class of Fabrice Brohet and Marc Lefèvre at the CRR in Reims where he obtained his end-of-study diploma with a unanimous distinction of Very Good. of the jury in May 2012. 

In 2007 he won the national trombone trio competition in Troyes then in 2009 the national trombone competition in Lille in the hopeful category. He entered the class of Gilles Millière at the CNSM in Paris in 2012, then in the class of Nicolas Moutier at the Strasbourg conservatory in 2017. In October 2018 he won third prize at the international competition in Chieri (Italy) and in the summer of 2019 a third prize at the international competition in Jeju (South Korea).
After obtaining his specialist diploma with honors at the Strasbourg Conservatory, he collaborated with various orchestras such as the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cannes Orchestra, the Sinfonia Pop Orchestra, the Métamorphose orchestra, and many more.
