Marie Maidowski & Youngseob Jeon

The duo is the winner of the Staetshuys Fund Prize and the Van Amelsvoort Prize for the best interpretation of a work by a female composer at the International Vocal Competition 2023 in Hertogenbosch (NL). The duo was also awarded the Jury Prize and the Audience Prize at the HIDALGO Song Competition 2023. 

Marie Maidowski, Soprano

Marie Maidowski gained her first stage experience in the children's and youth choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Winning the sponsorship prize at the 19th Lotte Lehmann Week in Perleberg and first prize at the 54th national "Jugend musiziert" competition encouraged her to begin professional vocal training.
Marie Maidowski is currently studying for a master's degree in concert singing with KS Prof. Christiane Iven at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. She completed her Bachelor's degree in singing and music theater with KS Prof. Julie Kaufmann in spring 2022.

Youngseob Jeon, Piano

Youngseob studied Hochshule für Musik und Theater München, staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim, Hanyang University.
