She has been playing the violin and piano since she was five. She received her first violin lessons from Veronika Unger in Stuttgart. Since the summer semester 2018 she is a young student at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe in the class of Prof. Laurent Albrecht Breuninger.
Masterclasses with Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Kirill Troussov, Robert Kabara, Yair Kless and Zakhar Bron gave her additional musical impulses. Marie Veronica Helling has won several prizes at “Jugend musiziert” and won, among other things, a 1st Federal Prize in the category “Violin solo” in 2019. In July 2018 she took part in the international violin competition "Il Piccolo Violino Magico" in Italy and in May 2019 received 2nd prize at the international "Leonid Kogan" competition in Brussels, 2nd prize and two special prizes at the international Szymon Goldberg violin competition in Meissen and in June 2019 first prize at the international music competition “Lvovski Virtuos” in Lviv, Ukraine. Most recently, in June 2020, she was awarded a 1st prize at the international “The Muse” 2020 competition.
