Kathrin Lorenzen is a German soprano born in 1994. She studied at the University of Music Saarland and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. Currently, she is studying at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm under Professor Bo Rosenkull. Notable performances include the Ausgezeichnet! concert at the Bach-Fest Leipzig (upcoming), Bach’s St John Passion(Storkyrkan in Stockholm, upcoming), and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem (Gothenburg Cathedral, 2023). Lorenzen sings soprano in the Swedish Radio Choir (Stockholm). In 2023, she was a finalist in the Havets röst competition in Åland and won first prize and the audience award at the 12th International Telemann Competition.
