Born in Tallin, Elizaveta Ivanova went to study with Felix Renggli at the University of Music in Basel in 2020 after being taught by Vladimir Ushakov, Olga Chernyadeva and Karina Kuelyar at the Lyceum and Conservatoire in St. Petersburg. Her first professional engagements were as deputy solo flute at the State Academy Symphony Orchestra in St. Petersburg and the Sinfonietta Chamber Orchestra. Elizaveta Ivanova has won many international competitions and came top in competitions including the international Crusell Flute Competition (Finland), the Cluj Competition (Romania), the Concours International De Flute Online, Russia’s Competition for Orchestral Musicians and was awarded a special prize from the jury of the 2019 Maxence Larrieu International Flute Competition (Nice). She joined the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester as deputy solo flute in 2022.
