Dániel Foki received his first singing lessons in Szombathely with Zsuzsa Németh and Krisztina Czeller. He first studied concert voice and lied and oratorio at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Univ.-Prof. Karlheinz Hanser and Univ.-Prof. Charles Spencer, as well as musical theater directing with Univ.-Prof. Beverly Blankenship.

He is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the 23rd Johannes Brahms Competition in Pörtschach and the 30th Nico Dostal Competition. In 2020, Dániel Foki received the prize for the best performance of contemporary song, the best performance of German/English song and the special prize of the Gottlob Frick Society at the DEBUT Singing Competition. At the 15th International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, he was awarded 3rd prize as well as the Boris Bakov Special Prize and an invitation to the ARCO Festival Marseille.
