Sion - Tibor Varga International Violin Competition
The biennial Tibor Varga International Violin Competition has a rich history of over 60 years. The competition is dedicated to young musicians aged between 17 and 33 and aims to enrich the experience and musical practice of the participants and provide encouragement and support to winners.
The competition is a core activity of the Foundation alongside the Tibor Varga Music Academy and Sion Festival, and winners frequently return to perform in the Festival.
